Scrapbuster Bow Hairtie

I saw this cute Oliver + S Bow Hair Tie but wanted something that was a bit more scrap friendly, especially if you've got surplus 2 1/2 inch strips, so I made some similar but different:

Read on if you want to make some yourself.

You'll need:
  • two rectangular scraps measuring 2 1/2 inch x 6 inch long
  • hairtie
How-to:

  • Place scraps right sides together and sew around edges leaving an inch-wide hole for turning.
  • Trim corners, turn right sides out, press and sew hole closed.
  • Knot onto hairtie and pull/push/twist til you have a pleasing bow shape.

How easy is that?
